Messaging compliance
SMS messaging consent
Momentum FSM (operated by Shiver Software LLC) enables service businesses to send customer-care SMS about appointments, account updates, and two-way support. This page explains how end users consent to receive those messages. It is published so messaging program reviewers can verify the opt-in experience without signing in.
What messages are sent
Messages are customer-care only: appointment confirmations and reminders, account or visit updates, and replies in two-way support conversations. Message frequency varies based on the customer's scheduled work and support activity. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help.
Opt-in path 1: Customer portal
- The customer signs into their service provider's Momentum FSM customer portal.
- They open Account Settings and enter a mobile phone number if one is not already saved.
- They actively check an SMS notifications checkbox that is unchecked by default. Checking the box is required affirmative consent.
- Consent language is shown with the checkbox, including message frequency, rates, STOP / HELP instructions, and links to the Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.

Opt-in path 2: Staff-assisted consent
A service provider employee may record verbal or written consent in the customer's Momentum FSM record after presenting the same disclosure language (message purpose, frequency varies, message and data rates may apply, STOP / HELP, Privacy Policy and Terms links). Consent is never pre-selected; staff must take an affirmative action to record opt-in.
Privacy and sharing
Mobile numbers collected for SMS are used to deliver the opted-in customer-care messages. They are not sold or shared with third parties or affiliates for those parties' own marketing. See the Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.
Opt-out and help
Customers can reply STOP (or STOPALL, UNSUBSCRIBE, CANCEL, END, QUIT) to cancel SMS. They can reply HELP (or INFO) for assistance. Opt-out is also available from the same Account Settings screen by turning SMS notifications off.
